Liz Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 The mens 4x100 relay. France said that they were going to smash the U.S.; so the U.S. team decided to use that to make them go even faster. In fact, France was the favorite to win, and all through the race the announcers were saying that America would hang onto the silver. The American just out touched the Frenchie by a split second. The American team just went crazy with all kinds of tribal yelling, and the French team had this look on their face like--what happened? It was great. Moderators Nan Posted August 11, 2008 Moderators Posted August 11, 2008 And the Ozzie set a new individual world record for the 100m freestyle in the first leg of the relay, and the medal ceremony was delayed because on of the other Aussie swimmers collapsed after the race (we got bronze). So the French lost the race and their world record. Quote

American's are NOT lazy and immoral. For this 10 days the world is at peace and that is a wonderful thing. Thank God for that. Quote
