puddles Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 I would like to request you keep Pastor Brian Jones in your prayers. Pastor Jones has authored several books as well as a couple of Sabbath School Quarterlies that I know of (and their accompanying books). He is also a pastor in my conference (Mountain View) that is in the Columbia Union. Pastor Jones is gravely ill and your prayers are greatly appreciated for him as well as his family. Thank you! Administrators Naomi Posted August 16, 2008 Administrators Posted August 16, 2008 Yes, Puddles, will add him to my prayer list. Any word on his current condition? Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
puddles Posted August 20, 2008 Author Posted August 20, 2008 From what was shared this past Sabbath at church: Pastor Jones has had a bad liver and was on the transplant list until recently when a tumor was found in his liver. It was said that unless God intervenes, he will die since his liver is so diseased and he was in such need for a transplant. Wednesday, August 20, 2008 is the date assigned to my church for fasting and praying on Pastor Jones benefit. If any of you would care to join my church tomorrow (or any other day for that matter)in this endeavor, God bless you! One upbeat note, last week (it may have been Friday), Pastor Jones was feeling well enough to participate in a baptism! He had his head elder do the actual baptism but he lead out apparently! PTL! Any/all prayers are greatly appreciated for Pastor Jones! Quote
Taylor Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 So he's waiting for a liver transplant? We are praying for him! Quote
puddles Posted August 20, 2008 Author Posted August 20, 2008 No he WAS on a tranplant list until the tumor in his liver was discovered. Sorry for the confusion! Quote
Tallmark Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I don't want to sound cold, but we usually become ill when we stop following God's health message. Going to a doctor is a waste, and a transplant is more of a waste. I know this because I went to medical school. Our docs are no different than those of the world prescribing poisons called medicine. Have Pastor Brian Jones check this out and get him on the program: https://web0.herbdoc.com/index.php?optio...9b40f3df17338f0 If he's serious about getting well and is willing to do this program, I can help him. Email me at markjorman@yahoo.com and put Pastor Jones in the subject line. Quote
