He has believes that killing of a child that was born through a failed abortion is ok!! Jesus told us about anyone touch one of these little ones and what would happen to them. When I see him speak, I don't think "gifted", I see a puppet, an empty suit without wisdom. I have heard him speak without a script and he's lost and not the leader he's portrayed to be. There's no liberal politian that can get us out of the problems we face because Liberal politians a lot to do with getting into this and they don't think they are doing anything wrong. Look at congress, what have they done about gas prices? Went on vacation to avoid dealing with it ' led by that poor lost soul, Nancy Polosi. People blame Bush for gas prices, it's congress that can do something aout it. But the Democrat led congress refuses to drill for oil and Obama believes the same. A side note: the war in Iraq is not Bush's war: Congress voted for it remember; They did this after 13 months of the UN trying to get Hussein to comply with UN resolutions? Why did n't other countries stand with the USA? Oil for food where countries like France and Russia I believe were getting large sums of money from Iraq and doing beusiness with them ignoring the very sanctions they signed on to. Then they say that Bush lied; What a joke.At least Hilary was honest about that and stood by her choice when the others all saw the same evidence. I also don't the any conservative politian can get us out of this because they have failed in stopping the liberals. They're too nice and afraid. The problems we face with high gas and high food prices and slow housing and auto industries are due to Americans over spending and world demand of Oil. We aer nation in debt and other countries do not want to invest here for fear of more serious problems. So down goes the dollar and away goes the companies that would maybe have opened up here. I don't know how folks grew up here and what their circumstances were. I grew up on the streets of Montreal. Not the greatest place but any large city will teach you one thing; how to spot a con man. If you don't know how to do that you're in for a painful time, either in your wallet or with your life. Obama is one of the biggest con men I have ever seen. He's fake and it's sad to see. I see him with his family and I don't see warmth or love. I see kids who are scared and confused. (and that was only with one reporter) That speaks volumes. There's no warmth in the marriage that I can see. No politian can solve our problems but choosing Obama will plunge this country into the worse situation possible. I don't pay any attention to them and am not asking anyone to consider them. My question is about Obama's statement about what he will do to defend America. What is your response to Obama's plans? carolaa Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I like his ideas about having a goal of no nuclear weapons. Of course, we all know that is probably not going to happen, but it's a great goal to work toward. I really like that he wants to try to make allies out of our enemies and restore our reputation in the world. I'm pretty sick of the tough-guy mentality we've presented to the world for too long. It takes a lot more maturity to work through disagreements, but that would be such a great example for the world - so different from our present example. I especially like that he wants to talk with our enemies. What a fresh concept! Quote

I know I certainly would. It would mean going back to the way it was before 1941. On the other hand, I know there are those who would like to be the only ones with the weapons and have everyone else to give them up so they would be in a position to blackmail other nations. The big problem, then, is how to verify that ALL nations have destroyed them ALL. It simply is not possible to know it for sure. Look right now how North Korea is playing games with that very idea-- do we have them, or do we not? It's anyone's guess. So as long as we can't be 100% sure of who's destroyed them and who hasn't-- just so long will it be impossible to do what Obama dreams of doing.
