Woody Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I think the Palin pick shows the difference in how the candidates think of women. Need I point out the only one who respects the abilities of women? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Dr. Shane Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 If McCain/Palin wins it will be great for women's rights. I know of cases in companies I have worked for where women have been passed by for promotions and men less qualified were given the position. A lot of this has to do with the stereotype that women are not smart enough or not dedicated enough. Palin, like Condoleezza Rice, Madeline Albright and Janet Reno, will diminish that stereotype.
