Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted September 11, 2008 Author Administrators Posted September 11, 2008 Yep, maybe so... But for you new Palin fans just remember the catch, "You know you can't vote for her without voting for McCain too." Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." Moderators John317 Posted September 11, 2008 Moderators Posted September 11, 2008 Yes, it's true that America has to decide between the two main candidates, although the VP candidates can be important also. I think that the Democratic Party and the Left are much more threatened by Governor Palin because she is a woman and she is conservative, both of which McCain is most decidedly not. If she becomes Vice President, and does a good job there, they realize that she has a very good chance of eventually becoming the standard bearer of a highly motivated, enthusiastic conservative Republican Party and the first female President. That is a huge threat to them, of course. They do not feel nearly so threatened by McCain because he is not even very conservative and does not excite the conservatives as Palin does. Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
