Obama - Jesus ... Palin - Pilate

Today Tennessee Representative Steve Cohen an Obama supporter ... directly compared Obama to Jesus and then said that it was a 'governor' that put him away and mentioned Pilate.

This was said on the floor of the House.

Is this the kind of change that Obama represents?

First he calls Sarah a pig and now his supporters are linking him to Jesus? And Sarah to Pilate. This is the worst presidential campaign that I've witnessed in my lifetime.

I saw this. He said Jesus was a community organizer like Obama and Pilate was a governor. We expect this kind of swiftboat attacks from the radical extreames but from a congressman? I would expect elected Democrats not to be saying such things. We have seen similar attacks against Obama but not by elected Republicans that I am aware of.

I don't see anyone in this election as a Jesus figure. They're all a bunch of chump time politicians: obama, mccain, et al. They all will kow tow to the will of the vatican. If persecution of a relatively obscure religious group (sda)means political popularity, I can see both camps doing so. I don't see prophecy being played out by either side.

From a congressman? Many Senators and congressmen are some of the most corrupt scoundrels around. Sex, money fraud, murder, you name it. You are referring to the u.s. congress? pleaaase.

That's a bald-faced lie. Obama never called Palin a pig. Check it out for yourself on Google.

In fact, that phrase ["like lipstick on a pig"] has been around for years in the political campaigning process. Even McCain used it himself, against Hillary.

And McCain was never accused of being sexist when he used that expression against Hillary.

Context. Context. Sarah had just used this phrase ... and that is whom Obama was addressing it to. The crowd knew this. Most people know this. Now Obama is trying to cover up his tracks because he made a mistake.

Good minds can disagree. Did you hear his say this in the original tape. I did. I will not call you a liar since you disagree with me. But I honestly in my heart of hearts ... know what I say to be true. I am not trying to be a liar.
