It seems like it is taking forever to get into this forum. Am I the only one having this problem?

I've had this problem consistently for nearly a little over 10 months now. You are not alone. Even so, it seems as if we are in the minority...

My speed today for this forum has been fine. I had trouble with another forum earlier and my gmail has tanked.

I do have problems getting on at times, particularly in the morning. For the most part, though, things go well for me.

I was going to mention it but it didn't bug me enough to make it urgent.

Hmmmmmm. I wonder why it takes so long to get into the forum. Once I'm, there's no problem. Didn't have this problem before.

For me, the speed of accessing this forum depends on the time of day. If it's about 8:30 or 9:00 a.m., I find things very slow. I figured it's because other people are signing on at the beginning of their work day [of course, there are many readers in other time zones from me].

So, I just quit and return later. Then it comes up right away.

So, here's what happened 10 months ago. I purchased a new computer and did not set my cookie status to allow adventistforum.com. I set it to allow clubadventist.com. Ever since then, I've had problems accessing this site.

Today, after much heated discussion with the webmaster of another site, I found out that I din't have cookies enabled for that site either. (I knew I had set the cookies to "allow".) More searching and searching led me to discover another aspect of Windows Vista that I did not know existed: custom privacy settings. Now, these custom privacy setting might be on all Windows platforms, and I've just now discovered them, or they may be a new thing only found on Vista. I don't know. Regardless, simply adjusting my settings and making sure that adventistforum.com was "allowed" as a trusted site to share my cookies has made all the difference in the world!

My apologies to Stan for all these months of complaining. Forgive me, please.

Please do not mind this post. It is merely a test.

I do not believe UBB code is working properly.

Again, another test.

And yet, another.

It's working ok. Why do you think it isn't?

Will that get rid of the italics infestation?

I like the italics, I think it makes everything look classy.

You must not be seeing the same things I am seeing. I don't have access to half the stuff you do though, so no biggie.

Don't worry about it anyway. Like I said it was just a test.
