This is a complete misperception of the law. The law does allow this minority to participate the same way as the rest of the population in marriage. Amen. We are not legislating their morals. They, are missappropriating the word Marriage. It is a Union but not a marriage. They should have all rights and responsibilities are marriage, property, alimony, inheritance, etc should be equal. But they can't go in and change the definition of marriage. They can have a union and live as a couple and die as a couple and no one is taking that away from them.

Toyota names their vehicle they own, Toyota because it has doors, wheels, and an engine and that is the name they choose for their vehicle. What the gays want to do is create another vehicle and name it Toyota. It isn't a Toyota, it is simply a car. What they have isn't "marriage" but it is simply a "union". We have to allow it even if it is sinful but don't call it a "Toyota" becuase it isn't..don't call it Marriage because it isn't.

It isn't discrimination to call our church the SDA church versus the Baptist church. We can't used the name "Baptist" because even though we are both a "Church" And both "Christian" we are not Baptist. They have a right to their identity, but so do we.

Man and Woman married is called Marriage. Man and Man or Woman and Woman "married" is called "Union" or whatever they want to call it but they can't encroach on the definition of Marriage. They can live like a "couple" but it is a matter of definition.

How do we define minority? How about those of us that enjoy eating shredded wheat for breakfast? Are we a minority? How about people that drive sports cars? Are they a minority? How about alcoholics? Are they a minority?

Yesterday a lawsuit was filed in California to challenge the overturning of the gay marriage law on grounds it is not constitutional to ban gay marriage.

How is it unconstitutional to amend the constitution? The Supreme Court of California already ruled the proposition had a right to be on the ballot when opponents tried to get it taken off the ballot.

We should remember too that gay "marriage" laws in Massachusetts forced Catholic Charities to shut down its adoption agency because of their refusal to do gay adoptions. So the idea that gay "marriage" laws would infringe on religious liberty is not just a theory.

They forced themselves, they weren't forced. And they wouldn't have been forced to do gay adoptions. They had a hissy fit/made a protest (that hurt orphans and made life tougher for unwed mothers).

A Toyota is a Toyota .

A union is a union .

Marriage is man woman .

The overt purpose of raising others to same status is exactly that .

The covert purpose is bringing down marriage to the level of insignificance .

If all are ' significant others ' , then that becomes insignificant.

It is one on the crafty ploys to erode western civilisation , and the institution of marriage in other places too.

The real aim is to devalue marriage , ordained in Eden.

Equality might appear logical , even be logical but is wrong .

The essential point is overlooked .
