Please tell us WHY you would agree to spend millions of dollars to support his radical spin on things.

Why would YOU be responsible to spend HIS millions?

Why would you now not discuss your role as a director of Ayres work?

I don't think Obama had anything but a very casual association with Ayers. They live in the same area and that's about it. The rest is right wing fabrication. Besides law enforecement has no problem these days with catching and nabbing any and all terrorists. If ayers is such a dangerous person, then why is he running around free? They pay him to lecture at some of the most prestigious universities. He even was invited to and spoke at the univ of sou carolina. The republican governor of that state sits on the board of that college.

I remember the weather underground. I remember thinking it was a travesty of justice that they were able to bomb and kill innocent people and then get away with it because of a legal technicality.

Meanwhile j edgar hoover had no problem with keeping track of the illinois chapter of the black panther party. the fbi even had a spy planted within the group. The spy was given specific instructions to do what he could the stir up internal strife and keep all the community based initiatives from running smoothly. the spy even became fred hampton's personal body guard. early one morning after hampton had spoken at a function at a church he was fast asleep in his apartment. The reason he was so sleepy was because the spy had laced his food and drink with seconal, a barbituate. He was given that so that he would not be able to respond when the chicago police later broke in and shot up the place.

After Hampton was shot in his sleep he was still breathing. Someone in the next room heard 2 more shots. A policeman went up to him and shot him in the head at point blank range, and was heard to have then said 'he's dead now'.

The point is you had ayers. If he was really a threat he would be dead by now, instead of lecturing at conservative universities. People that are crying about ayers aren't really concerned about him. You're glad he's alive because.... You just bring up his name now for political smear.

Where is the video that shows Obama and Ayers "pallin' around"?

Obama was 8 years old when Ayers did his mis-deeds. And no one knows what his views are now...nor what he means by "we needed to do more...". All these "facts" on Ayers are taken out of context.

Take a look at this article from Seattle PI-

The Washington Times reports that in 1986, John McCain wrote a note on House stationery to Charles Keating, chairman of a failed savings and loan association who went to prison in the late 1980s. In the letter, McCain apologized for listing Keating as part of his Senate campaign finance committee. Keating wrote in response: “You can call me anything, write anything or do anything. I’m yours till death do us part“:

For some background, when Charles Keating's Lincoln Savings finally declared bankruptcy, some 21,000 investors, most elderly, lost their entire life savings. When Keating was subpoenaed to appear before the House Banking Committee in 1989, he refused to testify and invoked his fifth amendment rights.

Keating, like Bill Ayers, is unrepentant (despite being convicted and serving time in federal prison). Keating claims he did no wrong, that federal regulators were responsible for the savings and loan scandal.

Given the current economic crisis; given the McCain campaigns inability to gain any traction because of the economy's collapse; given the similarities between the savings and loans failures and today's economic issues; given, not just a casual relationship, but a binding "til death do us part" relationship between Keating and McCain; and given McCain's admitted (perhaps inadvertent) involvement in abetting Charles Keating's criminal activities (no one, despite much investigation, has ever charged Obama with anything more than a casual working relationship with Ayers), one can understand why John McCain would be reluctant to bring up Bill Ayers at the next debate.

I want to know why, Bob, you want to believe that there is an intimate relationship with Obama and Ayers when there is NONE...I want to know why you and Redwood are believing trash, and perpertrating pseudo facts as truth.....I want to know why you are not truthful about yourselfs....that you believe a lie....

Obama's association with Ayer's doesn't bother me. I think he worked with Ayers as he did to try an get some education reform done. Apparently that didn't happen. Politicians often rub shoulders with people they don't agree with on many items. The "Ayer's Connection" is not enough to convince me not to vote for Obama.

I mean, if Obama’s most noteworthy ‘association’ with Ayers was one of proximity – “just some Yo’Dude in the neighbourhood...” [/paraphrased]

one asks, so why was it that Ayers signed-off – delegating to ‘community organizer’ Obama the responsibility to disburse, like, $100,000,000 of grant monie$ to various ‘revolutionary’ or ‘reactionary’ groups such as Acorn – or others? I mean, $100,000,000 in the hands of just another Yo’Dude in the neighbourhood?
