Lineman Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 I need everyone's help if you have time please. I just added a new timeline that I am hoping will encourage people to study Revelation and Daniel more. You will find this new timeline here: Revelation's Last Day Events What I am asking you to do is check it out and let me know if you find any missing links or whatever. Just keep in mind that the focus of this timeline is the Second Coming and that the PDF lessons (from Doug Batchelor) answer many questions that the reader may have. If you feel that something is missing that really needs to be there I'd like to know about it. Thanks so much, Dan Quote Visit and Share the BibleTimelines.com URL ! Joe_in_RP Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Many people are turned off by frames. I would pray about that. Timelines usually have a graphic timeline. http://www.teach-nology.com/web_tools/materials/timelines/ http://images.google.com/images?q=timeline If it were me I would have a summary that was clickable for more detail. Moderators John317 Posted November 1, 2008 Moderators Posted November 1, 2008 I checked out quite a bit of your timelines, and they all seem to be working fine. Thanks so much for making those available. I'll go back later and check for some specific information. Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Lineman Posted November 1, 2008 Author Posted November 1, 2008 Thanks Joe, I know the frames thing is not so good, but this is my first attempt at any kind of website and the person teaching me what I needed to do only knew about frames at the time. I understand that frames may not even be supported in a couple of years, so lately I have been toying with the idea of using Joomla's "wrapper" where a timeline image can be placed and scroll (I think), but have not done anything with it yet. (The horizontal scrolling issue is hard to work with and I personally do not like a vertical timeline. Any suggestions?) Thanks for the teach-nology.com link. Have not seen that one before. I made a simple test and saw that it creates a very, very plain timeline that looks simular to my other timelines, except most of the other ones on Bible Timelines Online are clickable for more detail like you are talking about. I do plan to add more information to this new timeline as time goes on and was hoping to get more help here, so I appreciate your comments. We have been working on a summary in another thread on this forum (http://adventistforum.com/forum/ubbthrea...html#Post191236) but I keep running out of reading time to organize the details. Suggestions as to what you would use for a summary? Bible Timelines Online does not use the name of the Adventist church anywhere and that needs to remain that way. I have tried (up to this point) to make this a non-controversial site where people will come and learn about what the Bible really teaches, without becoming upset at the Adventist church or something. There are many people who believe that the SDA teachings are wrong and so will not even take a minute to learn the truth. This site is designed to work with them as much as possible. Thanks again for your input. Dan Quote Visit and Share the BibleTimelines.com URL ! (Explain the Gospel in just a few minutes, or maybe even seconds.)

Still working on the order details, but again, thanks for your kind words. (I can use all the help I can get. I just want it to be Biblically correct.) Lineman Posted November 2, 2008 Author Posted November 2, 2008 Hi Joe, I added that list last night, but without any links yet. What did you have in mind for the links, anything specific? I really do not like the way the whole lower text section is layed out either. Looking for something much better there too. d Quote Visit and Share the BibleTimelines.com URL !
