Perhaps I need to start a thread with my accounts of going to church. But as you know ... when I get to go to church ... I am always so excited.

Today ... I was thinking of what I passed on the way to church. When I go to this particular church of ours ... I always pass a National Shrine.

Before we moved to this church district ... I came here from miles away to visit this Shrine. I was thrilled. Never thought I would be moving here. Now ... as I pass this Shrine ... it still gives me a thrill. Perhaps one day it will rub off.

But today I was wondering about the thrill that all those who come here get. Would they get a similar thrill if they traveled just a few blocks down the road? Would they show the same excitement? What about those of us who go by the Shrine each Sabbath? Are we losing our excitment?

Well ... you would not be losing that excitement if you went to the Shrine of the Lords church today. The pastor was on target. She was inspiring. She challenged us to LOVE. Even more than that ... she challenged us to SERVE.

He will know us by our Love folks. In the end ... it will not be ... did you keep the commandments ... it will be ... DID YOU LOVE ME. And did you feed me?

Something to think about... He is here with us ... Are we going to feed Him or leave Him hungry and without clothes?

May we be one so that the world may be won.

You don't happen to have a byis (spelling) to this pastor?

Perhaps I do have a bias. But it is an honest one.

There are two words which are used quite a lot, which seem to have different meanings to different people (yes, I'm on topic.)

Love is usually thought of as an emotion. But if one truly loves, one will do something for the object of love to show that love.

The exact same thing can be said about care. When someone tells me that they care about something, I wonder what have they done lately to SHOW

that they truly care.

Depends upon what 'doing' you had in mind. Not everyone can 'do' the same things or amount. All Some can do is Love or Care.
