Stan Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 The Monitor (Kampala) December 30, 2004 Posted to the web December 31, 2004 Lominda Afedraru Court The Registered Trustees of the Seventh Day Adventist Association of Uganda have sued a court bailiff for alleged unlawful demolition of their church at Nabweru in Wakiso district. Mr John Kyaligonza is jointly sued with Mr Livingstone Sekibaamu, a resident of Nabweru. The trustees petitioned Nakawa High Court last month. They claim the land was donated to them by Mr Fred Kyewalabye in 1998. They contend they constructed a church and a two-room house, but the defendants purporting to be executing a High Court order in 2002, destroyed the church and the house.
