Lol, i was expecting conservatives telling me how bad i would suffer in the eternal lake of fire because of my musicstyle.

There is some truth in it though, the rhytms seem to originate from the gentiles. But if the gentiles got it from the devil, maybe it actually originates from heaven. Do you think that in heaven there will also be different kind of music genres? i cannot imagine listening to rock music. I picture heaven very differently than earth, there is probably no industry and we won t be captives of capitalism anymore.

Anyway, i agree that the beginning of the song is a bit dull, it starts getting interested after a minute,

anywaym Nan and Krause have a nice sabbath...

Rather boring stuff. It needs some polish to the song to make it listenable -- if there is such a word. Try something different, this stuff is easy to put together because there is little substance to it.

Earlier Friday morning I listened to a gentleman on 3ABN, who had been through the "dark side" of the music industry prior to surrendering his heart to Jesus. The first musical piece on YouTube sounded much like one of the sensory avenues he described as putting one in the "alpha" state that the prince of darkness finds easiest in his beginning efforts, to capture individuals for his own purposes.

Not all individuals are as susceptible to the same overtures for the beginnings of dedicated rebellion against our Father's

plan of salvation for their life. However in probably 100% of the efforts to dissuade anyone from following a path that leads towards heaven, a steamroller is not used, and what is used can sometimes be seen as having a very beneficial characteristic for one's personal good, a very alluring means of persuasion.

One of my weaknesses comes from a totally different venue, the opportunity to get more than I need of certain goods because such a good deal comes with the more that is purchased. A plausible reason for causing one to go off the deep end seldom

comes by walking straight-off into the pool. The principle is as old as the human race.

Truthseeker, that style is not really my style (I'm more of a heavy metal guy), but I can definitely enjoy it in the right mood. Dutch DJs are famous all over the world, and there's a reason for that!

Have to admit, I've kept being disappointed over the years. People describe a new style like House as 'just a punding beat with a few electronic beeps and whistles', and it turns out to have all sorts of melody and nonsense. Have to admit, those songs came pretty close to what I'd been waiting to hear for 30 years or so!

Not going to venture into the maze of genres and terms though, to try to name it as trance, house, techno, acid, gabber, garage, jungle, happy hardcore or whatever!

Hey Bravus i am glad at least somebody is able to understand my style. Indeed trance music these days is being produced at a very sophisticated level. Dutch Dj s make terribly good music. The 80s en 90 s were just the birth of the basic principles. Nowadays it has evolved into heavenly music.

I have heard so many speculations from adventist leaders that are so ridiculous that now i can only laugh about them. According to Walter Veith everybody at a trance party is getting an alpha state of conciousness and then entitiet enter the persons. Also pointing to New Age groups trying to destroy national sovereignty is like a mouse trying to kill an eagle.

Anyway, now i consider it just as free entertainment. I think the real problems lie with the pentecostal churches performing voodoo rituals under the influence of annoying drums. It s got nothing to do with Dutch Trance Music.

This is the type of music that comes from 'blow 'em up" video games,...at least, that is what it reminds me of....

These video games are where you are in some airplane/spaceship and you have to shoot/blow up the badguys/aliens before they get you....and you are the only hope for the country/world/mankind....

I used to be a rave dj in the late 90's early 00's. It was crazy. I used to play up and down the west coast from LA to SF, and was twice flown to Anchorage Alaska on their dime. It was an obsession at the time, and I used to get such a natural "high" from doing it, but then once the night was over, I would slump into a feeling of emptiness. It was very hollow and wasn't fulfilling. I cringe now at how responsible I was for the downfall of many people. The sort've music that guys like Tiesto play, it appeals to the senses, makes you feel like you're in a higher state and makes you feel that everyone who experiences what you're feeling is on the same wavelength and all is well in the world. But it's ultimately not enough to fulfill any permanent longing.

I think a lot of that music has evolved. Nowadays the younger kids are into the electro/housier stuff like Erol Alkan, Justice, Deadmau5 etc. But the effect is the same, and ultimately the result as well...emptiness. I'm not immune to it, it's something I still struggle with. I do know this though, the music we'll hear in heaven will blow anything we've heard on earth away. We'll hear tones and melodies unimaginable to us now. We may even be able to harmonize with our own voices. If I think _________ is an amazing singer here on earth, imagine the voice of an angel, or better yet, God Himself. If I think _______ is a "genius" producer, what about the compositions of angels, or better yet, God Himself.
