Moderators Nan Posted January 2, 2005 Moderators Posted January 2, 2005 That weight -less than 300 gm - would be the weight of a healthy 18 week fetus. I would assume this baby was suffering from severe growth restriction - so that her lungs and brain would be more mature than the weight would indicate. However that in itself carries a lot of risk, so her survival is amazing. Quote
