Woody Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 At O.J. Simpson's sentencing ... the attorney for OJ quoted John Adams who quoted the Bible. (Micah 6:8) Asking for mercy. Of course ... the attorney did not reveal that what John Adams said was a quote from the Bible. I have to wonder if a quote from the Bible would be allowed in the court room if it was known to be from the Bible? O.J. tells the judge he is sorry but confused. Not sure what that means. The Fox commentator calls OJ an "arrogant S.O.B" and says "how the mighty have fallen". The judge leveled O.J. 16 - 33 years ... and chewed him out royally. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
guibox Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Wonderful! It's about time that murderer got his due. Hopefully they will liquidate everything he has to give restitution for the Brown and Goldman families that he cheated out of loved ones and monetary punishment as they have seen very little of what he owes them. I disagree with 'how the mighty have fallen'. It is more like 'how the cowardly sneak finally got caught.' Sorry, OJ, I respected you as an athlete before your killing two people. Now you are just another criminal. Quote www.corbel.theacaistory.com
Woody Posted December 5, 2008 Author Posted December 5, 2008 Yes. I was pleased that even the judge called him 'arrogant'. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Taylor Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 OJ does have real issues for sure, and yes arrogance would probably be on that list. Amazing how God loves him and everyone else...including the Sadam Husseins and Hitlers and even me. Quote
