I think i ve finally found the truth. After years of trying to get to know the SDA God and doing everything he could possibly want, asking tens of people to pray for me, all i got was a spiritual ice age. The SDA God is not real for me. I don t believe the SDA fundamentals at all anymore. Ellen White plagiarized the whole stuff with her damaged brain. I am sorry that this might sound harsh, but it is better to tell the truth so you won t become cold hearted. Personally, i am glad to be able to escape the snare of seventh day adventism. It brought me misery and my most painfull spiritual wounds didn t got any attention from the SDA God. For long i ve believed the prophecies, but now i don t believe that they apply to our times anymore. The Seven churches were probably just that, 7 churches without spiritual meaning. Since everything in the bible is symbolic, there are thousands of ways to interpret the bible so it would be ludacris to suggest that a perfect God would be so unclear in his scriptions which have been published in thousands of different ways.

I am contaminated by this close minded idea that the bible contains the absolute truth. But now i know better.

I ve become a religious scientist. This is what i believe:

Beliefs

Religious Science credo, adapted from Ernest Holmes "What I Believe"[18]:

We believe in God, the Living Spirit Almighty; one, indestructible, absolute and self-existent Cause. This One manifests itself in and through all creation, but is not absorbed by its creation. The manifest universe is the body of God; it is the logical and necessary outcome of the infinite self-knowingness of God.

We believe in the incarnation of the Spirit in all, and that we are all incarnations of the One Spirit.

We believe in the eternality, the immortality, and the continuity of the individual soul, forever and ever expanding.

We believe that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us and that we experience this Kingdom to the degree that we become conscious of it.

We believe the ultimate goal of life to be a complete emancipation from all discord of every nature, and that this goal is sure to be attained by all.

We believe in the unity of all life, and that the highest God and the innermost God is one God.

We believe that God is personal to all who feel this indwelling Presence.

We believe in the direct revelation of Truth through our intuitive and spiritual nature, and that anyone may become a revealer of Truth who lives in close contact with the Indwelling God.

We believe that the Universal Spirit which is God, operates through a Universal Mind, which is the Law of God; and that we are surrounded by this Creative Mind which receives the direct impress of our thought and acts upon it.

We believe in the healing of the sick through the power of this Mind.

We believe in the control of conditions through the power of this Mind.

We believe in the eternal Goodness, the eternal Loving-kindness and the eternal Givingness of Life to all.

We believe in our own soul, our own spirit, and our own destiny; for we understand that OUR LIFE is God.

What is the view on evil and wickness?

Do evil ones have the Kingdom of Heaven within themselves according to the above credo?

Well glad to see that your at least still seeking and not just being idle. But the God your talking about is not just the God of adventists. God is the God of all, even though some might call him by different names. If you believe in God you are believing in the God of the Bible. Because there is nowhere else that you learn of God. The Bible is his word, so there is no other place that you will learn of him TS. I'm not just an adventist because that's what my parents were. I've stayed an adventist because it follows the Bible more closing than any other church. Just take the 10 commandments as an example. Read each one and than see what church follows those moral laws because they love Jesus, as he has asked us in revelation and other places. Anyway TS have a good sabbath.

Happy Sabbath Truthseeker ...

Good to see you again. And I am so glad that you are still believing in God. And that you are not cursing Him now. That is good improvement.

Like pk said ... God is God. He is not just an SDA God ... so ... where ever you find Him and follow Him ... I am sure He can reach you. It was when you were cursing God that I was concerned. But now I am feeling better ... because as I said ... if you have an open and 'seeking' mind ... I know that God will reach you.

Please continue to come and be our friend. Don't be a stranger.

May we be one so that the world may be won.

Sorry to see your position, truthseeker007. Sounds like you've accepted something that's been around for the most of 6000 years. At your best and at your worst, He has never stopped loving you.

"You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." Gen 3:4,5 NIV

You still have the opportunity that is open to all who have breath.

"Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts." Malachi 3:7 KJV

Regards!! peace

Lift Jesus up!!

There are different degrees into the extent in which you can experience the kingdom of God. Jesus said the kingdom of God is not something that can be seen like an object, but it is something that s within us. So if you are evil you will experience very little the kingdom of God, and if you are doing the right stuff, the kingdom of God within you will grow. I geuss it s part of an evolutionary process.

I don t believe the bible should be taken literally. First of all who says that forbidden fruit equals the belief of an eternal soul? We all die, it s not something that started with adam and eve. Such a view is ridiculous and contradicts the evolutionary evidence as presented by the majority view of the contemporary scientists. If God did design us and has the right intentions for us, then why did he create an immune system? It takes more faith to take the bible literally than believing in an evolutionairy process in which we all are little parts of God.
