Search issue

Pardon if this isn't the correct place to put this question, but I didn't find it addressed elsewhere, and as you'll see, searching for the answer is not an option.

I wanted to search for something on the forums, and naturally used the Search function. I received this response:

Sorry ... since none of us have permission ... The request can't be granted. lol lol . Just foolin with you . But honestly ... the search function is down and out. Not working for anyone. I very much miss it but guess it is not possible to have it with the new software.

This brings up an issue. Perhaps we could go back to the old software so that we could have the search function if that is the problem. I think it would be worth it.

Having said that, are there plans to implement search in the future? It seems odd to have no search capability.

The search function causes problems and can shut down the server for a few moments.. there is another search on the side that is pretty good for all the public forums, it is a google search engine.. give that a try..

I tried Google's a few days, maybe weeks, back and got total garbage as a result. Is it working better now?
