Which Sony model(s)/sizes are you drooling over? XBR6, XBR8? 42, 46 or 52inch?

Dream big and really go gonzo and get the Sony KDL-70XBR7 (70 inch) with Sony STR-DA5400ES Home Theater A/V Receiver (7.1 channel surround sound), Sony BDP-S5000ES Blue Ray Disc Player and a complete set of Bose Acoustimass 16 Series II speakers and we can have you outfitted for under $26,000. (Yes, that extra zero is not a typo...) That'll blow your ears off and pop your eyes out of their sockets!

The amazing and interesting story about the man to be featured on FOX was covered back in August by the Daily Telegraph -Mosab Hassan Yousef

"Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good."

"Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal."

"I love God only as much as the person I love the least."

Um, as much as my mancave needs to ' blow your ears off and pop your eyes out of their sockets! ", I live in an appartment complex, and the downstairs spanish neighbors may not like me making that much noise with my seven 100 watt Polk speakers, Onkyo 7.1 black reciever/stereo system along with my bass speaker from Polk.

If money were no object, of course I'd get the 70 inch TV....but money IS an object, so I am looking at the 46 in Sony...

I got the 46 inch Sony this past year and love it. Once you watch TV in HD and on a bigger screen, you don't want to go back...

You could fund it like I did... but I wouldn't recommend it. I got a personal injury settlement as a result of my motorcycle accident. But while I was satisfied and was able to buy this new toy, if you asked me if I would break my bones again like that to get more $$$, my answer would be a resounding "NO!" Man, that was painful!

Probably sort of the same reason women think they need 50 pairs of shoes when they can only wear one pair at a time on their two feet...

Common cycling break - broken collar bone and I messed up some of my ribs and my shoulder. Year and half later I still have nerve damage in chest and shoulder's not back 100%, but nothing major or disabling.

The good news is that the gear did its job - skidding on my head and shoulder 40+ feet on pavement alongside oncoming traffic with no loss of skin and the helmet did its job and saved my brains and probably my life and avoided serious head trauma. I hit the pavement chin first so the full face helmet saved me from a broken jaw and losing face, literally, even though I still got knocked out. Impact compressed the chin guard and blew out shield with its hinges. I think helmet neck support also avoided broken neck. I feel very lucky.

I'm more of a computer and film guy. So, I could not justify spending 5 grand on a tv when something like Cannon 5d mkII cost 3k, with 2k left for decent glass, or a quad core machine. But, I guess... to each their own.

BTW, gentlemen,...

Are you talking about the program called "Escape from Hamas?"

If that's the program you mean, it was about a young man who is the son of one of the founders of Hamas. This young man was the leader of the the Hamas youth movement until he was put in an Israeli jail along with his uncle and his father, who remains in jail to this day.

He said that while in jail he saw Hamas leaders torturing their own members if they suspected them of collaboration with Israel, and he described how they would put needles under their fingernails. He became very disillusioned while there. When he got out he met a Christian near the Old Wailing Wall of the temple in Jerusalem, and soon after that he began to study the Bible along with the Koran, making comparisons and thinking through everything very carefully. He said that the thing that cause him to begin thinking Christianity is right is the verse in the NT where Jesus says, "Love your enemies." He had never heard this before, and it is so different from the Koran and what the Muslims believe. He knew it must be from God.

To make a long story shorter, after studying the Bible and the Koran for a quite a long time-- when alone, on the hills outside of Jerusalem-- he decided that Koran was all wrong, and the Muslim religion was "sick," "like a drug."

He said that Islam is falling apart from the inside. It may not look that way from the outside, but he said he is sure Islam will collapse in a fairly short time (I think he mentioned something like 10 years).

He knew then that he must get out of that area and come to the USA, where he could be free to be with other Christians and also to tell his story. He believes God wants him to persuade many Muslims to turn to God and Christ. He knows, though, that there is already a price on his head. He wants to live but if God allows him to die for his faith, he prays that God will give him strength and willingness to die for Him.

He lives in San Diego with Christian friends, and the program showed him worshipping at a church there with some fellow Christians.

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
