Dr. Shane Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Bush Back Home Quote: "The presidency was a joyous experience, but as great as it was, nothing compares with Texas at sunset," Bush told a crowd of about 25,000. "Tonight I have the privilege of saying six words that I have been waiting to say for a while: It is good to be home." A class act until the very end. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Woody Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 He looked like a man with a load off his shoulder when he welcomed Obama to the White House. And Obama looked like he had just received a heavy load. Yes, Bush is a class act through and through. One of the best Christians to take the office. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Members phkrause Posted January 21, 2009 Members Posted January 21, 2009 Agreed! Not only that I believe that Bush was the right guy at the right time. I will always believe that what happens in Governments is because this is what God has allowed. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Woody Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I sure hope the Bush Bashing will end with him out of office. But I somehow doubt it. They will be calling him names like liar ... even when he is dead and unable to defend himself. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Dr. Shane Posted January 22, 2009 Author Posted January 22, 2009 Some people have so much hatred in their hearts they cannot let things go. In fact, some of the Bush haters were not even able to enjoy the victory of Obama winning because with hate in their hearts it could not be filled with joy. We must pity these people. Pray for them. Jesus longs to heal them of their bitterness. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
Moderators John317 Posted January 22, 2009 Moderators Posted January 22, 2009 I agree, Shane. I hate neither men. In fact, I like both men, and also like McCain. So far, I like everything President Obama has done, and I hope our President turns out to be one of the best. I was so happy for the whole country and proud of it on inauguration day. The hopeful mood of the people reminded me of the way people were feeling on President Kennedy's inauguration. Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
