After Cain killed Abel he received a mark so that nobody could touch him. But who were those other people then?where did they come from? Did Ellen White say anything about this? Quote

Who knows how many siblings Cain had, but it doesn't take much to make a large family. It doesn t take much to make a large family but you don t expect your own sons and daughters to kill you, that doesnt make sense. Maybe after the fall things which we consider today as normal were strange in those days. Maybe people just didn t understand that you shouldn t kill other people, not steal etc. Maybe God was bringing that message more clear when he gave Moses his commandments. In the old testament days God himself was with his people, nowadays he is represented by the holy spirit. I don t quite know yet how this works... Quote

He must have been murdered by Cain his brother before either of them got married. It seems like that is what Gen. 4: 1-17 says. The Bible gives the descendants of Cain (Gen. 4) and Seth (Gen. 5) but not of Abel. Cain left the area where he had lived with his brother Abel and married his sister who then bore Enoch. Seth's wife gave birth to a boy they named Enosh, and later Seth's descendant would have a boy name Enoch, who would go for a walk with God and never return.
