Dr. Shane Posted February 8, 2009 Author Posted February 8, 2009 These athletes which are felons leave a wake of other felons behind them. Thousands of young athletes justify their own misbehavior based on what the star athletes are doing. When the stars are held to a high standard the young, up-and-coming will strive for that same standard. If I had my way, Phelps would be stripped of his medals. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Amelia Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 It's not about them playing sports Red, at least not to me. It's that children are hero worshipping them and their lifestyles. And I feel the same way about musicians and singers too, who have less than savory lifestyles. Mamas don't let your children grow up to be gangstas.
