Woody Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 How many of you heard Barry Black's prayer at the Lincoln celebration today? I thought he did a great job. How inspiring. What was interesting was that immediately after he prayed ... Obama gave his speech. I thought that usually their was some kind of introduction like ... HERE IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. Oh well ... As far as the OBama's speech .. Well ... I would rather have heard Barry continue his prayer. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Members phkrause Posted February 12, 2009 Members Posted February 12, 2009 I missed the prayer and the speech. Was real busy doing stupid stuff. I heard that Barry Black has a prayer Bible Study group in the senate, not sure what day. He invited Steve Wohlberg to speak, a while back. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
