Woody Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Obama will sign the stimulus package in Denver tomorrow. But, just how much is his bill going to cost you? If you earn $100,000 a year ... it will immediately cost you $28,000 or $52,500 over the life of the loan. This does not stimulate me personally. I don't approve of this kind of change. Moderators Bravus Posted February 16, 2009 Moderators Posted February 16, 2009 What will it cost you if you earn $100,000 a year and lose your job because the economy stalls? Quote Truth is important
Woody Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 Whether you lose your job or not ... you still have to pay the $28,000 to Obama so you can stimulate HIS interests. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Woody Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 Well ... this one is in Obama's lap. Win or lose . I will either give him the praise or the condemnation. BTW ... I am already working on the condemnation speech. The praise is on hold. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Dr. Shane Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 The biggest part of this crisis is the banking industry. If Obama is successful it will have more to do with how he gets the banking industry through the crisis than any of this stimulus spending. a lot of this stimulus spending isn't even scheduled to start until the second half of this year or next year. The important issue is the banks. Once money is freed up again people will start buying cars and homes. Businesses will be able to borrow for inventory. Once consumer confidence starts coming back they will start buying more on their credit cards (not something I recommend). All that activity will generate more jobs than the public works projects Obama is going to do. The key to a booming economy is an active private sector. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Woody Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 Does anyone find it interesting that Obama refused to allow anyone the time to read the give-away spending bill ... he told them they had to vote right away. Then once it is passed ... he sits on it and waits days to sign it. I guess he will finally sign it today in Denver. Does he think we are stupid? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won.
