olger Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Stan, you will notice that the sky is clearer, the grass greener, the trees taller and the water wetter when Obama steps onto Canuck soil. Truly you are not worthy. :) Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."

Woody Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I am watching it on Fox. The Canadians are wise. Not many are interested in Obama. The crowd there is 'tiny'. It looks smaller than a regular high school football game. I am impressed. You Canadians don't fall for Obamitization like many of us stupid Americans. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Ellen Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 You must be watching it on a U.S. station. There were about 2500 people by the House of Commons where Obama stepped out of schedule and waved at the cheering crowd. The Canadians were told we wouldn't get to see him at all so there was little reason to come. However people came because of the principle and history of it. So they got a pleasant surprised to get him to wave to them. One man was aarrested for stepping over the boundaries on the crowded street. Obama has a 88 percent approval rate here in Canada - higher than in U.S.A. I wonder how long that will last. We both have to get along together. Quote

Redwood, I would appreciate it if you didn't call people like yourself "stupid".....It's rather beneath you to self abase yourself in such a mannor...Please, lighten up....
