Neil D Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Oh, I don't find it hard to believe...What I find hard is the audacity that they want Obama to fix everything in 100 days or less... So, they insinuate that his popularity is slipping...because he hasn't fix anything yet...And if he hasn't fixed anything YET therefore his popularity is slipping....or if he has fix something, well, he's offended some people in the process and THEY know that THEY don't like him and therefore his popularity is again slipping... Aw, so what....you can't make an omlete without breaking afew eggs...and your eggs have been broken ever since you found out he was a democat.... Woody Posted February 20, 2009 Author Posted February 20, 2009 My eggs are bloomingly brilliant thank you. But Obama has been broken ever since he became a Demo. The FACT is true that the polls show Obama slippin'. It ain't made up. It was reported on Fox. Truth. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Neil D Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Quote: It was reported on Fox. Truth. Ah, yes, the quesentential foundational standard for tabloid news, who can't get it right the first time, so they must repeatedly report on the news to get it right each time they report it.... ....sometime in the future, they will get it right....... Woody Posted February 20, 2009 Author Posted February 20, 2009 Just look it up on the Fox website before you start yur babblin'. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Neil D Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Why??? If I want truth or something accurate, NBC or ABC or CNN or ...? I hate to say this, but even DRUDGE might be a bit more accurate than FauxNews....but not by much Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. Woody Posted February 20, 2009 Author Posted February 20, 2009 Thank you for posting that Pam: I've pulled out one section just for Neil: Quote: Similarly, the portion of people that disapproves has increased to 26 percent, up from 16 percent. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,496545,00.html Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted February 20, 2009 Members Posted February 20, 2009 Because the New York Post was where I found the story.... it linked me to the complete Obama Report Card at Fox. OOPS. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Neil D Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 But where is the source that says it's from the NEW YORK POST? As it is, the source is YOU....and while YOU claim it's from the NYP, YOU posted it to FoxNews....It looks, and I emphasis LOOKS, disingenious....[Please note, I said it LOOKS, not IS, disingenious.] I bet if you correct it, the APPEARANCE of disingeniousness would disappear....and would probably be labeled as an "oops"... Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted February 20, 2009 Members Posted February 20, 2009 corrections made.... just trying to help locate where the Obama Report Card was located on the internet. Neil D Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 I hate to tell you this, but it still goes back to FauxNews... [smile].... And that New York Post looks very tabloid....Ooooh, Wellll. Members phkrause Posted February 21, 2009 Members Posted February 21, 2009 Unfortunately Neil, redwood is correct. But that's only half the story. In the one poll he's down 5% from 65 the previous month. But on the other polls he's up almost double from previous polls. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted February 21, 2009 Administrators Posted February 21, 2009 New York Post and FauxNews are both owned by the tabloid king himself, Rupert Murdock... SO, the New York Post is just a print version of FoxNoise... Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. Neil D Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Unfortunately Neil, redwood is correct. But that's only half the story. In the one poll he's down 5% from 65 the previous month. But on the other polls he's up almost double from previous polls.pk I never said that he was wrong....Just that FauxNews is a tabloid and is NOT to be concidered as the journalistic standard. So what that FauxNew is correct in that Obama's popularity is down? Even they conceed that the comparison of polls was between the inaugration and now. Of course, there is a decrease of popularity. In the first 30 days, Obama has put forth some very hard legislation to help save some jobs...The Republicans are echoing Rush's sentiments, in that they hope Obama fails. And the legislation is not the most popular thing to do...but it's better than having a lot of people out of work and a lot of people with time on thier hands, contemplating the taking of your possessions....Do people like being out of work? No, ...is this legelation something that everyone likes? no....Is Obama's popularity gonna drop some based upon the hard decisions that provide us this legislation? Of course.... Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted February 21, 2009 Moderators Posted February 21, 2009 This is the worst we've seen in our lifetimes. Give the man a break. He's not Superman. He's doing a great job of righting the ship of state. It'll take months, if not years, to get everything working smoothly again. Why, I ask, does anybody expect his popularity to stay at a high level?? (If you're a parent, and you have to correct your teenager for something he did wrong, do you expect you'll be popular while you're doing it?) Popularity is irrelevant here, IMHO. Integrity and hard work are what we elected him for, and so far that's what we're seeing. Quote Jeannie<br /><br /><br />...Change is inevitable; growth is optional....
