Cosmin M. Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 What brings back weird memories? The video or the song? Quote
Administrators Gail Posted February 24, 2009 Administrators Posted February 24, 2009 The song- it's a Monty Python number (from the Life of Brian(?)- Now that's a few years ago) Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Cosmin M. Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 1990's to be precise. And the name is Monty Python- Always look on the bright side of life. I like that song. :) Quote
Administrators Gail Posted February 25, 2009 Administrators Posted February 25, 2009 Do you know what Monty Python was? Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Cosmin M. Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 Uhh... A singer? And I believe I have seen him in some movies. Quote
Cosmin M. Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 NVM. Found it here.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monty_Python Quote
Liz Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Monty Python--The Black Knight is one of the funniest ever!!!! "Tis only a flesh wound." "Alright we'll call it a draw then." darlene Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 What I meant was the soccer video which brought back weird memories. Playing soccer, falling, etc. and seeing lots of stars. I have a degree in physical education so I got to play a lot of soccer and other games. Falling and hitting your head or just getting banged up create a lot of stars! Quote

Administrators Gail Posted February 25, 2009 Administrators Posted February 25, 2009 Yeah, we grew up with them, too. The sketches were SO funny! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Liz Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 They were talking about spam meat. It was another Monty Python funny. Planey Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I believe it was the Monty Python "Spam" sketch that was the origin of the current internet use of the word "spam".
