City officials marked the occasion with eight former Battle Creek mayors joining the 150th anniversary Tuesday, February 24. Incorporated in 1859, the city served as a base for members of the Underground Railroad and abolitionist leaders, with human rights activist Sojourner Truth calling the city her home for 27 years....
