Have to wonder about the laughs, one says the average adult laughs 13 times a day, another says adults

laugh from 15-100 times a day.....but I for one am not going to do the research to see which is correct!

Thanks for the correction, Dottie. I didn't know the difference.

Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

Some of these are wives-tales. For instance, SOS was used starting in 1908. When the Titanic sank, it started out using the more standard CQD distress code, then later used both CQD and SOS.

And #48 made me LOL.

17. Roosters cannot crow if they cannot extend their necks.

Definitely true. I had a rooster that would start crowing shortly after midnight. I put a wooden box over him, and since he couldn't stand up straight, he couldn't crow until I let him out.

21. The verb “cleave” is the only English word with two synonyms which are antonyms of each other: adhere and separate.

I think there's another one; just can't think of it at the moment. So far all my brain can come up with is that it starts with an S. Or maybe an L. I think I must've sneezed one too many times recently.

#32 is false. Hair and fingernails do not continue to grow when the body dies. That is impossible. They appear to grow, as the flesh dries and shrinks away from them.

Not everything you find on the internet is true.

Hair and fingernails do grow after a person dies, at least for a little while. When Jesus died, His body "did not see corruption". The cells may have begun to shrivel up, but there are still some nutrients in them for nail and hair food. And yes, "as the flesh dries and shrinks away from them" they become more visible, but that is not all that happens.

Well, yes, for a few minutes. I was interpreting that item to mean much longer. My mistake.

Apparently the first group are those who read Cosmin's jokes and the second group read Neil D's...

This is not really true.....Yes, there enzymes in the regurgitated nectar that is stored in a special pouch as it is carried back tothe hive, but 'digested by the bee', that is not true...
