However I have just read the official statements on Adventist.org and I have two questions I would like to ask to any adventists here who subscribe to the offical statements regarding climate change and evolution. Before I post my questions I would just like to know if anyone here subscribed to these statements, and would they be offended if I asked questions about their beliefs? Quote

We cannot see each others face nor detect the tone of the statements. I believe the reason we may get offended is because we assume something about the other person and may read in to it more than was actually said. Its not a perfect system. But its the best system I have every found. But I have always advocated different views because a) I learn from it. It causes me to search for why I belive what I do. C) It sometimes helps me clarify what that is that I believe. So, Please share with us. Quote

I do subscribe to the second statement, which is an official belief of the SDA church regarding the creation of the world.
