This morning I noticed a woman at the laundrymat who I know to be a Christian. I struck up a conversation with her and she lamented the fact I was attending an SDA Church. Not being a confrontational type I let her say her peace. She added I should attend her church. What this highlights is the fragmentation that exists with the Christian community. I guess it's a fact of life that has to be lived with. Indeed, a sad one. John Quote

I have attended many non-SDA churches, included Catholic, Pentecostal, Jehovah Witness, Mormon, Baptist, and Congregational. God bless you in your studies and in your search for truth. I think it is a shame that we don't unite more with our commonalities such as serving our fellow man. Feeding and clothing the poor etc. The important thing is that you love the Lord and give Him your life. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. True-believer Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 as long as the denomination is Christ-centred and is in obedience to the will of God then it is a true Church of Jesus Christ... I see no problem with fellowshipping with other believers on sunday or any other day. God does not say that we can not come together with all believers from all different churches. Woody Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 HEY ALL I HAD a S.D.A. pastor that said until the sunday law is passed he sees nothing wrong with visiting sunday churches with friends from other denominations..... dgrimm60 I would agree with this pastor. The Bible says nothing that would indicate that it is wrong to go to church on Sunday. We are free to go to church on any day and every day. I've been to various churches on Sunday. I see no problem with it. I had some close friends that were leaders in my SDA church and they would come to church on Sabbath each week teach the Sabbath School Lesson and then also go to a Nondenominational church on Sunday each week.
