Scott Michael Bennett

Has anyone here ever heard of Scott Michael Bennett? Our church bulletin says he is going to put on vespers concerts in two churches in our area tonight and next Saturday night. When I looked up his schedule on his website I realized that he must be Adventist, because all of his listings just say "X Church", not "X Seventh-day Adventist Church." Most of them are in Michigan, so I guess he's probably from Michigan too.

The second Google listing in the search was a "Melody from My Heart" video. I know 3ABN has a music program by that name. Has anyone here seen him on 3ABN? I know that if his music is on the radio we wouldn't hear it, because the Baptist college station we listen to won't play Adventist music because they think we are a cult.

I don't watch TV at all. The only entertainment I might watch is a few movies online. Which now happens really rarely.

Also, I never watched him before.

I have seen him at my church. Good singer, does a real good children's story. We bought a couple of Cd's. This was a few years ago. We really don't listen to them any more. I don't know if it was because we listened to them too much or if they just didn't have "staying power". At any rate he was in our area, and we didn't make plans to see him. I believe he is from Michigan, as I have seen him at camp meeting (not performing). He has an interesting testimony (but don't we all). Is he worth the time seeing, I would say yes.
