If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

True-believer Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Of ALL of God's creatures ... which one is the most spiritual? The most spiritual would have to be the person who is always into the Bible and Prayer. Quote Luke 4:19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Members phkrause Posted March 20, 2009 Members Posted March 20, 2009 If that is true than first, I'd have to ask, is the praying mantis a consider a pet? I would imagine that there will be praying mantis's in heaven one way or the other Redwood. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Liz Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I agree with the Praying Mantis, but how about a bookworm that only goes through the Bible? Neil D Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Have you not heard of the Christain bear? I heard the story of the man who wanted to get his wife a fur coat. She had some friends who got one, and raved about it. So, in typical wife fashion, she complained that her hubby didn't love her cuz he didn't get her a fur coat. The man, muttering to himself, reluctantly started shopping to find a fur coat...and nearly jumped out of his skin when he found out the prices for these coats...He went on the internet and moaned and groaned over the prices of fur coats... so as he's talking to his buddies about getting his wife a fur coat, one of the guys says, why don't you go hunting for a fur coat? I got a buddy, an outdoors man, who will guarentee a good hunt and you get your fur coat, at far less the price in the shops. So, after a bit of negotiation with his buddy, and the outdoorsman, this husband is out on the hunt, determined to get a fur coat.....In the process of the hunt, the man got lost, fell down a hill, lost his gun in a raging river, and finally found his fur...in the form of a live bear....and the man ran for his life.... WEll yeah, the bear overtook the man, and just as the man was about to be et, the man prayed out loud, "Lord, make this bear a Christian!" To which the bear dropped to his knees and said, "Lord, what we are about to partake, we are truely thankful".... Woody Posted March 21, 2009 Author Posted March 21, 2009 I agree with the Praying Mantis, but how about a bookworm that only goes through the Bible? Having a worm go through the Bible would not be a Christian thing to do unless the bookworm was human. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won.
