So how does that second guy from the top eat? His nose ring goes over his mouth. And that last one with the nose rings, that are gone and so is his nose---well, that one is just gross.

Can you imagine standing behind one of these people at an airport security check?

This is a disgrace for those who live in Canada.....

I find each of these images repulsive. I am shocked to see them on this website--and the link to BMEzine.com as well. For once, I'm thankful my children are not in the room as I peruse ClubAdventist.

Well, let's remember that God loves each of these people, and we are called to love them also.

Yes. Good Point Carolaa.

Loving them is one thing. But wanting to look at pictures like that is quite another.

I especially didn't like the one in the middle of the second post, because, except for all the piercings, he looks a lot like my son - same coloring and beard. I would NOT want to see my son looking like that. He has done some weird things to his hair, but thank God he has never gone for that kind of thing.

I have seen guys with enlarged earlobes, with out the doodads. It is not pretty. No amt of plastic surgery can correct that kind of skin abuse.

Isn't it wonderful that God loves all of His children no matter what they do to themselves? And praise Him that our bodies will be made perfect in the end.

Yep. They will have to wait a long time for their ear lobes to be 'made new'.

This brings up a point. If for instance, the guy third from the top, is saved and is in the earth made new, and he wants to do that to his ears again. Then say after a few millinea, he wants to change will Jesus heal his earlobe again? Or will the "new" body only happen once? Or will piercings and Tats be outlawed in the earth made new?

I seriously doubt anyone who makes it to heaven would want to do anything to disfigure God's creation.

I wonder if anyone will really want to do that to themselves.

Liz, remember that currant evil influences won't be residing in Heaven so the urge to modify ourselves (or other equally strange things) also wont be there.

It's only my opinion but if something isn't there to make us remember or think about it, we won't. Since we will be surrounded by God, Jesus and all manner of heavenly beings; our "self" will be otherwise occupied. :)

I doubt it. I think that in some parts of Africa they WOULD be able to find a job! They would fit in better than we would!

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Well, there will be a remembrance of body piercing: Jesus' hands and feet. I have a feeling, though, that the remembrance of such things will only bring us to a humbled heart and spirit; it won't be something any of us would emulate.

Sorry Aubrey, I ment the remembering of how the self thought it was great to destroy the body thinking it was great looking. Or the evil whispering in the ear that it would be awesome to have spikes growing out of the head.
