I agree that the historical precedent is there, but does that make it something that we as Christians should advocate and support? Those are the methods of evil dictators and empire building. But we are a force for good in the world. It's very disillusioning when you find out we are not better than that - and that our emphasis is on "force" rather than "good." Quote
