Key Guy Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I've been pondering.. Even though car sales are down, I wonder how many cows it takes to outfit a car with leather interior? Shoes can have fake leather. Purses and sofas, too. But many prefer real leather in their cars. Quote
nuff sed Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I have no problem using animal products for other than eating because I know that the animals were slaughtered for food and not to make the products that I use. It only makes sense to recycle the parts left behind. I like my leather shoes and car seats and will continue to use them. IMO Being Vegetarian or Vegan has to do with my dietary preferences. Quote
Dr. Shane Posted April 25, 2009 Author Posted April 25, 2009 Becoming vegetarian will only help with weight-loss if a person also converts to a low-fat, high fiver diet and watches their sugar intake. If that type of vegetarian diet became the norm, with over 50% of the world's population eating that way, It would bring about many blessings to the world - including reducing global climate change. Planey Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Now everybody makes typos and it is normal netiquette to ignore them. But sometimes the mistake gives some unintended humour by the resulting words, as in: Quote: high fiver diet Sorry.
