Guest truthseeker007 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 If you check out this vid, i think it is terrible and can t imagine that God doesn t hate it too; [video:google]http://video.google.nl/videoplay?docid=-...phins&hl=nl But in one of the final plagues God is going to turn all the seas and rivers into blood and kill all the animals in them. Why do animals have to suffer for what people do? And another question, why is God pouring out his wrath on this generation for sins that the previous generations have committed? Is that fair? i don t understand... Quote
jlbyrd Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 That is absolutely horrible. I cannot see how any reasonable human being can view that as acceptable. Quote www.reviewandherald.tumblr.com
GreatLakesGramma Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Do you think the way domestically livestock are raised and slaughtered is any more humane? Many of them suffer their entire life, and are then killed in an equally inhumane manner. Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. Members phkrause Posted April 23, 2009 Members Posted April 23, 2009 That's pretty sick TS. But they are not the only animals who are being killed. There are the whales, cows, etc. Any animal that they can be sold for food are in the same boat. Very sad what we do to each other and to the animals that were entrusted to us to take care of. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Stan Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 When we partake of the product of any of the above, we partake of the infliction of the suffering as well. Just my humble opinion. Members phkrause Posted April 23, 2009 Members Posted April 23, 2009 I have to agree with that. One thing that I never ate was veal, because of the way they treat the animal. But its not any better for other animal either I guess. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Planey Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 IBut in one of the final plagues God is going to turn all the seas and rivers into blood and kill all the animals in them. Looks like our Nipponese friends in this video are getting a head start on this. Graeme PS And before we get all judgmental, consider what GLG said previously. We could shoot an equally repulsive video in any Australian, New Zealand or American abattoir, or check out the slaughter of fur-bearing animals. Any of us that share in the products of these places are equally as guilty as those in the video above. PPS For a separate thread, probably: What about the use of leather products? Administrators Gail Posted April 23, 2009 Administrators Posted April 23, 2009 Excuse me, but I need more information. What do these people DO with the dolphins they kill? Is there a market for them? I had heard of dolphins being drowned in nets used to catch tuna, but this is horrible. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

I don't see how anyone can morally justify the killing of an animal for food or clothing when it is completely unnecessary. The only exceptions are countries where there is a necessity for meat due to a lack of other food sources. Human life should be respected first, but in industrialized nations there is no need for the population to consume meat. Quote www.reviewandherald.tumblr.com
Guest truthseeker007 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 My personal opinion on this subject: i Believe it is disgusting that people kill these dolphins in such a horrendous way. I believe that capitalism has gone too far and now everything is for sale. People who do these kinds of things only consider these dolphins as products. I believe that God endowed the dolphins with great capacities and glory and honour. I believe these fishermen don t know that what they are doing is raping God his glory. But i believe our sins are partly a result from the evil within ourselves and partly the results of the lies of the devil. After all, who was involved in setting up the principles of the evolution theory? I believe satan himself created this theory, mixing 99 percent of scientific truths with 1 percent poisonous assumptions and lies. Anyway, i can t see how sin has affected animals from within. Have animals become sinfull as well? is that why they started eating each other? Is that why some hippos now start to eat other hippos?, i just hope that when Christ returns, in his new kingdom no animal or person ever has to suffer again... Quote
Guest truthseeker007 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Pretty beautifull stuff isn t it? This is how it began, a big explosion out of nothing with the size of a little dot exploded. Boom!, then all kinds of rocks flew into the vacuum space, they started to form beautifull stars and round planets, giving them a proper structure. Then there was a planet which we call earth, and there was a sun for the day and a moon for the dark. Almost like it was designed this way. Then you get the right amino assets together, and these particles know what to do, so they start creating life forms from themselves. And then these life forms become smarter and bigger and now here is your dolphin with radar and mental abilities. We even developed a sense to distinguish what is beautifull and what isn'.t evolution doesn t make sense, they should rename it to adaptation-theory, then they are talking about facts. species don t turn into other species... Administrators Gail Posted April 23, 2009 Administrators Posted April 23, 2009 TS, what can we learn about the Designer who made the dolphins? :) Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Outta Here Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 John 21:6 (New American Standard Bible) 6 And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right-hand side of the boat and you will find a catch." So they cast, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish. Quote
Guest truthseeker007 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 A dolphin is more than a fish, has a different skin than other "fishes" and is therefore forbidden by Yawheh to consumate...Just like Yawheh says we shouldn t eat pork. Quote
Outta Here Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Fascinating; and yet, they are still animals. Quote
