So I'm guessing you were baptized today (or yesterday). Praise the Lord

No Pkrause...

I have been baptized into the body of Christ when I was 13yrs of age... and then I rebaptized at 21yrs of age to start my adulthood which I feel God led me to do... and now I am nearly 27yrs of age... God isn't leading me to get another baptism, that would be worthless... all I need to do is become a member of the sda church without getting rebaptized because I am already baptized 7rs ago.

I hope that isn't confusing for ya???

This makes perfect sense! TB never left the faith of Jesus. Like the disciples of John the Baptist that then learned of Christ, he is following on further where God is leading.

Good on you!

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

When one has a rebirth or new discovery and wants to turn their life around ... the mini-baptism or Ordinance of Humility (Foot Washing) is always a good thing to do. Just try to make sure you are at the next Communion Service. It is a cool experience always.

May we be one so that the world may be won.

Yeah, thanks Redwood...

I really love the "Open Communion//Footwashing"...

It's a lot better of how the sda church use to be years ago when it was very strict about "Closed Communion//Footwashing."

The Reformed sda church are the only ones that I know of that still has "Closed Communion//Footwashing" services.

And one more thing...

Can we please stop using that word "Ordinances"... it is found NO-WHERE in the Bible...

Just use the word Communion or Lord's Supper and Footwashing... because those words are in the Bible.

Just my 2cents.

Not that it matters to me ... but Ordinances are mentioned 28 times. Communion is only mentioned 3 times and the Lord's Supper Zero times.
