Woody Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Due to the sensitive nature of some here. I will not expose a photo of Miss Australia ... but some in the media think she is far to boney. What think you? (I think Miss California looks much better) Here is the link ... http://blogs.watoday.com.au/peptalk/2009/04/ive_got_a_bone.html Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. olger Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Fat is an easy commodity to come by in Western culture. Kudos to those who avoid it. oG Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
carolaa Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 YES! She looks like an anexoric, skin & bones. I hope she gets the help she needs. It's pitiful. Quote
Dottie Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 She'd look even thinner if some of her body hadn't been augmented (as we say in our house). If the judges didn't pick such thin girls, then the girls wouldn't try to be so thin. . . Quote
Planey Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Not sure what is going on with the webpage which Redwood linked us to. We had reported in our news here Down Under that another contestant (Stephanie Naumoska) was the one who gave the appearance of being anorexic. The only connexion with Rachel Finch that I could find was a reference to the fact that Rachel defended Stephanie. Rachel herself is not overly thin or boney. jlbyrd Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Why is it that when male models are skinny, it's okay, but when the media decides that a female model/actress/singer is too skinny the entire world is in an uproar? Quote www.reviewandherald.tumblr.com
carolaa Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Thanks for clearing up that confusion for us, Planey! Quote
