Dr. Shane Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Dave Ramsey is releasing the DVD of his Townhall for Hope. It can be downloaded or purchased in a packet of 10. He said on the radio yesterday that if anyone wants to make copies to give away that is fine but they cannot make copies and sell them or use footage in another video without permission. I think that is very cool. He is trying to get his message out. I thought to myself, this should be the position of our Adventist media ministries. 3ABN has sent me emails telling my I can make copies of any of their programs I record and give them away. I am not aware of other media ministries doing the same. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
carolaa Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Democracy Now! encourages free sharing of their programming. Same thing, their concern is getting the message out, not making money. Quote

Joe_in_RP Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 There are many non Adventist programs like that. But sadly there are those who want a large fee. Where did they get this info anyway? If its not from God, I don't want it. Does God own all the cattle on a thousand hills but not the sermons of our pastors? How many people could be reached if we could pass out the tv evangelism programs done every year? Quote
