Woody Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Whatever .... Is this per the alleged moderator? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
carolaa Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Is it any different if the person is a public figure? Should we say "Obama is a murderer" or "Obama is a liar" ... even if we thought he was? I agree there are better ways to say such things, but I don't find it offensive. It doesn't bother me too much if you think a 3rd party is a liar and want to call them such. I will just think you are expressing your opinion. Quote

Key Guy Posted May 9, 2009 Author Posted May 9, 2009 Whatever .... Is this per the alleged moderator? Yes!! Allegedly Quote
Kountzer Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Doesn't matter. People say, or post all sorts of stuff around here. My thing is this: a person can go to numerous political forums. They got all sorts of msg boards and chat rooms where they sit around and bash this and that political position or this or that politician, especially who ever is the current president is. There are numberous forums that mix conservative political views with first day evangelical beliefs. Many of those types of churches and the believers that belong to them unknowingly try to make up for the lack of spiritual power with political power, if that makes sense. The most unique and relevant and spirutally powerful thing around, if you can call it a thing, is the 3 angels msg. I don't think you can restrict that msg to one side of the street, or to one party. Members phkrause Posted May 9, 2009 Members Posted May 9, 2009 Redwood thinking one is a liar, theft or killer than actually knowing. Would you not say that that could be considered gossip? Just a thought. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Key Guy Posted May 9, 2009 Author Posted May 9, 2009 On the forum... > Are you a 'presumed innocent' liar until proven guilty? Who decides? Then is it safe to publicly make the accusation? > If you don't get your facts straight or misquote a source, are you a liar or just less than intelligent (how's that for a gentle approach)? What's the best way to handle someone who may be a habitual twister of the facts? (PS: I took an IQ test once and the results were negative) Quote
Members phkrause Posted May 9, 2009 Members Posted May 9, 2009 Good comments KeyGuy. Now about that IQ test KeyGuy, I'm gonna have to reevaluate my thoughts about all of your posts! hahahahaha pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.
