I ran across some similar facts. They are listed below, along with my comments on them.

The average human eats eight spiders in their lifetime at night. -- I’m not sure what this is saying. Shouldn’t it be "inhales?" I can hold a spider, but eat one? No thanks. I’m sleepy now, honey, where’s the duct tape? (And who performed this study and how?)

The electric chair was invented by a dentist. -- That goes without saying.

The Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, has twice as many bathrooms as necessary. -- How many women work in the Pentagon? Obviously not enough.
