You know - Southern Cali is taking on a whole new dimension that I never saw before Graham Maxwell. He is a very nice man, has been in Loma Linda since the late 1960s. I used to go to his Sabbath school classes for years and have been in his home. He's a wonderful person. He doesn't teach anything now that he didn't teach over 25 years ago. I don't agree with him on everything, but you would never meet a nicer, more loving, thoughtful person. I remember a guy (no pun intended ) that I met back at summer camp in NY, many years ago, not sure of his last name. He taught systematic theology while I was a student at Loma Linda University. He was known as one of the best systematic theologians in the SDA church. He gave the address to my graduating class at the La Sierra campus. There, you will see an old koot [me!] in black pants and a red shirt [a sure sign ofchange, aka "liberal"] . Hopefully, there will be a sign [if I can find one] that says "ClubAdventist"... In case anyone wants to know, I have a commitment of at least 2 individuals, so there will be at least 3 members meeting tonight. I am not saying who, as there are some who desire anonomyity [sp]. Neil D Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 Well, the meeting of the Southern California ClubAdventist Forum has met. The meeting hall was terrific[sPAGETTI FACTORY!!!! 'nuff said!!!] Refreshments were served [and the caloric intake was enough to worry the dietian that I have been dating] Unfortunately, only a quorum met. [there were 2 other members that came.] Decisions were made after data was given [We gossiped about you all!!!!!!] We complained about some members lack of participation[ Where is D.Allen????? Does anyone know????] and a report will be sent to the upper echalons of management [stan, our recommendations will be coming to you]. A documentation of the event [picture] with a greeting will be added to the archives for posterity.
