Fran Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 I now must consider a Nationality Change! I could handle that if I could find somewhere in Canada with the weather of San Francisco! Moderate all year! Last time I was in Canada there was 60 days between snows! Snow packed up past our second floor. We had to shovel everyday! We never saw our back yard for months. We had to keep a good sized area clear for our dogs. So we had to climb out our upstairs window to shovel snow off the roof. All we had to do was walk up the snow to the roof and shovel. Then we had to start at the top of the packed snow and shovel a clearing so we could shovel the dog's square new snow into that clearing! It was a tough job! So where can I retire where there is no snow - in Canada? Uh Oh! Since the glaciers are moving down, there may be no Canada in 2029! Where am I going to go?????? Maybe Florida will become Canada!
