Guest truthseeker007 Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 There is a lot of confusion about the law and grace. Isn t it very simple? you see, Jesus said he did not came to abolish the law, but to fulfill the law. This means that only Jesus kept the law perfectly and we can therefore be saved by accepting his sacrifice. This implies that we should keep the law, but we can not keep it perfectly, we cannot fullfill the law. So when we sin we have an advocate and we can be assured that we ll be saved if we follow Christ by heart. Quote
Administrators Gail Posted May 28, 2009 Administrators Posted May 28, 2009 You are right, TS- it is simple enough. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
