Many biblical scholars are at odds over the meaning of Daniel 11. It's been a source of controversy in several theological circles. dgrimm, I have a book by Marc Alden Swearingen, that my mom sent me awhile back, called "Tidings out of the Northeast". Its a general historical survey of daniel 11. I started it a few times but have never really got past the first few chapters. Have so many other books to read, so not sure when I'll get to it.
