Stan Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Ever notice that the Crazy folks think they are Normals? AND Normal folks think they are part of the Crazies? Question is this.. Which group are you in.. Quote If you receive benefit to being here please help out with expenses. https://www.paypal.me/clubadventist Administrator of a few websites like https://adventistdating.com
Liz Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 LOL...I used to think I was normal...but now, I just don't know. Quote For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Mat. 16:26Please, support the JDRF and help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Members phkrause Posted June 12, 2009 Members Posted June 12, 2009 Never ever thought I was normal, so I guess there's only one other option. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Moderators Bravus Posted June 12, 2009 Moderators Posted June 12, 2009 I think normality is over-rated. 'Normal' is nearly a synonym for 'average' and even 'mediocre'. I wanna be out near one end of the curve... Quote Truth is important
GreatLakesGramma Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 What "normal" means depends on the context in which it is being used. Normal can mean sane, as opposed to mentally ill. It can mean fitting into society as opposed to being a misfit. When I use the word to apply to myself, it always means my usual state, not what someone else might consider normal. Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. "To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable, because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you." -- C. S. Lewis
Moderators LynnDel Posted June 13, 2009 Moderators Posted June 13, 2009 I'm normally crazy. LD Quote LD

Ted Oplinger Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Stan, I'm about as Crazy as they come... Quote "As iron sharpens iron, so also does one man sharpen another" - Proverbs 27:17 "The offense of the cross is that the cross is a confession of human frailty and sin and of inability to do any good thing. To take the cross of Christ means to depend solely on Him for everything, and this is the abasement of all human pride. Men love to fancy themselves independent. But let the cross be preached, let it be made known that in man dwells no good thing and that all must be received as a gift, and straightway someone is offended." Ellet J. Waggoner, The Glad Tidings "Courage is being scared to death - and saddling up anyway" - John Wayne "The person who pays an ounce of principle for a pound of popularity gets badly cheated" - Ronald Reagan
Moderators Kevin H Posted June 13, 2009 Moderators Posted June 13, 2009 When I got back from a deployment overseas I was asked if I saw anything that affected me so much that I felt that I had to see mental health professional. The interviewer broke out laughing when I replied "I figured I'm so severe that I could not afford all the work I need so I became a psychiatric nurse so that I could do the work myself." Quote
Stan Posted June 13, 2009 Author Posted June 13, 2009 So.... if you think our one of the crazies... than are you really one of the normals?
