aka Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 The first ever SDA wedding virtually taking place online in cyberspace, was between Randal Terwillegar and Rachel Twing. The officiating Pastor, Ralph Blodgett, held the legally accepted church wedding online December 22, 1995. It would be so nice to have an online party celebrating the 10th year anniversary for these two at the end of this year on 22nd December of 2005. [:"brown"]Providing that both of them are still alive and married to one another. [/] Anybody know an update on these two? The bridegroom was Roger Cox and the bridesmaid was Darlene Britzuis. Halfstep Denise Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Randy and Rachel Terwillegar are both alive and still married to one another. They are currently living in Illinois. Check out their website at http://www.terwillegar.com for an update. I talked with Rachel a few minutes ago and she said she liked the idea of an online anniversary party, but I don't know how it could be done on this forum. Any ideas? Being one of Rachel's "cyber-bridemaids" and a part of Adventist history was a privilege! Lots of fun too! Denise Farquhar Quote "If you're all God has, is God in trouble? -- Dr. Frederick K.C. Price

Nicodema Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Hey sorry about the post here but I've been wondering how Turmeric got the special name color. I want one too. Quote "After such knowledge, what forgiveness?" -- T.S. Eliot
Halfstep Denise Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Good idea, Stan! I don't know how it works so it will be fun to find out! Probably just as much fun as it was to try to pull off the wedding! Were you there, Stan? Denise Farquhar (my name was Denise Lee back then!) aka Posted January 24, 2005 Author Posted January 24, 2005 It would, imo, be better to do the interview in December when the anniversary is full 10 years actual. I don't know the party guests of honor and am sorry to say I rather not do an interview. The type of questions I would ask might get too personal. I have the online ceremony saved to my files if anyone would like to pm me to get it sent to them. Quote
