Neil D Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 It used to be that a townhall was the gathering place for individuals to network among themselves and get the latest gossip in the community. Now adays, we seem to need to compartamentalize everything.... ...an example of this is here, at clubAdventist. We used to be able to get some humor here...some leads in regard to good places to work, a place to learn/teach about light politics, religion, practical living, sharing of ideas and problems... Creative writing was done at one time...Sharing of storys, events and happenings were also done...Now, look...We have a place for hobbies, humor, and politics. As for places to find out if it is a good place to work, well..I haven't seen a "Glendale Advenitst Hospital is a good place to work" thread/post in years.... As for teaching...in this bbs, I think we have plenty of wannabe teachers...or chiefs, if you wll...and not enough students/learners....There are no paddiwan apprentices here, and if you are looking for one, good luck.... So, what is the Townhall, here on ClubAdventist, here for? What is your take on this forum? Why do you feel the need to post various subjects here? Woody Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Crowded is a good thing. I hope we encourage lots of writing. Doesn't bother me. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
