Kountzer Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 I started tracking the sports career of Carl Crawford when he was a freshman football player for Houston Jeff Davis high school. By the time he was a sophomore everyone knew he was destined for great things sports wise. He was a very good high school quarterback, and just as good a baseball outfielder. A lot of big time D 1 college programs tried to recruit him as a football player. I think he made the right decision to go with baseball.
