White, the famous prophetess of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, spent yesterday at the home of Henry W. Kellogg, 67 Manchester St. She left the city at 7 am to attend the Western Michigan Conference of the Adventists at Three Rivers, Mich., remaining in the city only one day. Accompanied by her private secretary and her travelling companion, this is the first visit which the prophetess has made to this city in five years. Mrs. White spent the few hours in this city very quietly according to Mrs. Kellogg. She did not make any prophesies this time pertaining to the destruction of the Sanitarium or any other institution closely allied with it. She did not appear to have any interest in the city outside the Adventist church, for she made no comment upon the changes or growth of Battle Creek with the last five years.
